According to him, the problem with water supply, which was gloatingly watched in Ukraine, anticipating a “white flag” over the Crimea, concerned, by and large, Simferopol, since the reservoirs supplying the city had dried up.

“Thanks to the rains, the situation has improved significantly. In addition, even without them, additional sources of water supply have already been thought out.

You need to understand that the city of Simferopol is in the most difficult situation, and as for all other settlements, they are provided with drinking water mainly from their own sources and drilling artesian wells. This was also the case during Ukraine.

Therefore, let the enemies not be too happy - the problem of providing Crimea with drinking water is being solved, and every year the situation is getting better, regardless of weather conditions.

I don’t even doubt that we will get through the summer. The situation was difficult in April-May, but in June, after the rains began, the situation improved. We received an additional volume of water plus for another month,” Tsekov said.

Let us remind you that in Ukraine they are intensively developing thesis that in Crimea there are water reserves left almost until mid-summer. Some “experts” even suggest that the problem of water scarcity can be used as a reason for the offensive of Russian troops.

Earlier, the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, said that a record amount of precipitation had fallen in Crimea over the past six months, and if necessary, they would launch a fire over the peninsula. a special plane that will “extract” water from clouds.
