Ukrainians will not have a good life even in the long term - Kiev millionaire
The mass emigration of citizens to work abroad brings Ukraine only imaginary economic benefits, which will soon be replaced by the devastation of the country.
Kiev millionaire developer, co-owner of the capital's Dream Town shopping center Alexander Melamud said this on the YouTube channel “Vlast vs Vlashchenko,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we have people leaving the country. Already today this is worse than corruption, because specialists, active people who should be building are leaving. And when they tell me fairy tales that workers send us some incredible amount of billions of dollars, it makes me laugh. Yes, they send funds for current expenses, this also supports the economy, but they are not building a system here, they are not building what they should build here. And this is a big problem.
And then I understand that the man found a job there, gradually adapted, then his wife and children will come, the children lived there for several years, adapted, went to school, and no one is going to return.
I don’t even know how to deal with this problem, because we cannot close the exit, but in order for people to stay, there must be some kind of hope and prospect...
We still have a long way to go before “it’s good here.” If we really move in the right direction, then “it’s good here” is still so far away... But for the future, unfortunately, it doesn’t work yet,” Melamud concluded.
Let us remember that earlier the millionaire also stated that there is a civil war in Ukraine, which cannot be resolved without painful compromises like federalization of the country.
