It was explained to Ukrainians: not a single Russian politician will be able to return Crimea
Ksenia Sobchak will not be able to return Crimea to Ukraine, even if she suddenly becomes the president of Russia.

Russian political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “112”.
“She will not find support in any social stratum in Russia. Not a single Russian politician will be able to return Crimea to Ukraine, because the majority of the Russian population will be against this. I think that President Petro Poroshenko and the Ukrainian political elite as a whole understand this very well, they simply cannot admit it to the electorate,” Belkovsky said.
He suggested that the situation could change in 30-40 years.
“I believe that a compromise option that should be supported is granting Crimea full state independence. Then, in a few years, Crimea will again decide whether it wants to remain part of Ukraine,” Belkovsky said.
At the same time, he believes that if Sobchak is allowed to participate in the presidential elections, she will receive no more than 7% of the votes.
