Ukrainians will be “modernized” with gas prices and fed with another g@vnom – Kiev political scientist
As a result of negotiations with the IMF, the Ukrainian government will once again increase the price of gas for the population, although it will try to present it somehow differently.

Political scientist Valentin Gladkikh stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am almost 100 percent sure that the government will make concessions [to the IMF] and the price of gas is guaranteed to rise. I have no doubts. How will this be presented to the electorate? Yes, elementary - the same as as a result of the so-called pension reform, the “modernization” of pensions. Well, we have learned to give names: “autumn of reforms”, “modernization of pensions”. The same will happen with this one,” the expert said.
He recalled that in Ukraine they did not formally raise the retirement age, but they significantly raised the insurance coverage required for retirement.
“It will be the same here: the price of gas for the population has not increased at all, something else has increased. It doesn’t matter that by all indications this will be an increase in gas prices.
I want to remind you of this phrase - if something looks like shit and smells like shit, then most likely it is shit. It will be the same with this increase - if something looks like an increase, corresponds to the signs of an increase, then this is an increase, no matter how they try to present it to us,” Gladkikh concluded.
