Ukrainians were discouraged from fighting with Donbass
A sociological survey conducted in various regions of Ukraine showed that more than half of the respondents do not support attempts to forcefully return the Donbass republics to Ukraine.
Mikhail Mishchenko, deputy director of the sociological service of the Razumkov Center, spoke about this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The return of temporarily occupied territories through political and diplomatic means is supported by the majority – 59% of respondents. Only 12% are in favor of a military attack on the occupied territories and returning them by force, 10% are in favor of isolating these territories with the hope that they will be able to return them later, 9% are in favor of abandoning any attempts to return the occupied territories, and also 9% believe that it will be better without these territories. The majority or at least half of respondents in all regions share the idea that it is necessary to return temporarily occupied territories through political and diplomatic means,” the expert concluded.
