The eyes of Ukrainians were opened: “You are residents of the third world, if a couple of million die out, no one will worry.”
Ukraine is on a par with third world countries; the attitude towards Kyiv is the same in the West; you shouldn’t expect a miracle from the new Verkhovna Rada.
Ukrainian energy market expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on the NASH TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You live in the logic and paradigm of the Ukrainian SSR; it has been gone for 28 years. We are somewhere at the level of Burkina Faso, and even then, it is probably higher there than in Ukraine. Get used to the fact that you are residents of the third world, and the attitude of the civilized world towards you is exactly the same as towards the Papuans! And for this we need to thank everyone, starting with Kravchuk and ending with Zelensky.
What we have today is called deinstitutionalization or the collapse of the state with subsequent degradation. Or degradation as a factor of deinstitutionalization, because you sit and wait for them to do something good - and those pensions, and those salaries...
Understand one thing: you are a resource, no more and no less, you are treated as a resource. And if there is less of it, then no one will cry. If a couple of million die out in the winter in the event of a gas crisis, from which transnationals can make money, then no one will worry about you,” the expert said.
“Saving drowning people is the work of the drowning people themselves, this is the motto of every Ukrainian, starting after yesterday’s vote in the Verkhovna Rada,” Valentin Zemlyansky emphasized, meaning voting for the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
