Ukrainians were shown a new self-propelled artillery mount “Bogdan”
The director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, Sergei Zgurets, published a photograph of the new Ukrainian 155-mm self-propelled artillery mount (SPG) “Bogdan,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Photo published on the military expert's Facebook page.
“So this is what you are, “Bogdana,” Zgurets wrote, publishing a photo of the movement of the tented self-propelled gun.
Subsequently, photos of “Bogdana” without an awning were also published.
Zgurets said that the photo of the Bogdan self-propelled gun was taken at a training ground in Ozernoye, Zhytomyr region, where today a howitzer was demonstrated to representatives of the country’s military-political leadership. It is this model that will take part in the military parade on Independence Day on August 24.
“Today was the first display of this 155-mm howitzer, which will participate in the parade. Tests are currently ongoing, it was removed from testing for demonstration, and after the parade they will continue,” the expert said.
This year, during the military parade in honor of Independence Day in Kyiv, a mechanized column consisting of 250 units of equipment will pass. They will demonstrate new models of weapons and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, already adopted and available in the army, as well as promising ones undergoing state testing. A mechanized column is training at the Ozernoye airfield near Zhitomir.
