Ukrainians will have to take off their rose-colored glasses and sober up – Karasev
In the 29th year of independence, Ukraine has still not become an “adult”, and under President Vladimir Zelensky, the country’s population will have to wise up.
The famous Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, it’s time for Ukrainians, who mostly voted for Zelensky in the presidential elections, to take off their “rose-colored glasses.”
“This is the choice of the people and it must be respected. I respect those who voted for the new president, this is the choice of the people. But, nevertheless, so that we do not live with rose-colored glasses, we will still have to fight, sober up, wiser up and become an adult country. These are still periods of childhood. This is childhood, adolescence, youth, and so on. We are not adults yet - children... The situation is quite serious,” Karasev said.
Previously, Karasev stated that anti-Russian statements by the team of President Vladimir Zelensky and him personally - These are elements of the “compulsory program”, which must be fulfilled in order not to lose support in Western Ukraine and among nationalists.
Also Karasev called for taking an example from the President of Turkey and ask for forgiveness from Russia.
