This was reported on the Ukrainian TV channel TV-7 Mariupol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to residents of Mariupol, to survive the day, they need 200 - 300 hryvnia. A decent amount comes out per month, which is much more than the minimum wage in Ukraine.
“I receive a pension of 2000 hryvnia. How much can I spend per day on this pension? I pay more than half of my pension for an apartment, so I am faced with a choice: buy food or pay for utilities. I choose food, and let the communal apartment wait. Now prices for utility services are simply off the charts,” complained a pensioner from Mariupol.
