Comedian Vladimir Zelensky, who won the presidential elections in Ukraine, allowed himself a boorish statement in response to a polite speech by Russian leader Vladimir Putin, he confirmed that, having received power, any Ukrainian politician, regardless of nationality, turns into a pile of crap.

The head of the Union of Political Emigrants and Political Prisoners of Ukraine Larisa Shesler announced this on her Facebook page, whose material “A Green Apple in a Pile of Shit” the editors of “PolitNavigator” brings to the attention of readers.

How glad I am for Zelensky’s opus, which he released on the Internet! The whole set of Russophobic cliches and boastful declarations: “We are proud free Cossacks, and you are stupid, cowardly slaves!” In response to Putin’s tough but polite and specific speech - a boorish and defiant statement with empty labels and false accusations.

I will not write about thousands of political prisoners who are imprisoned for posts on social networks, and how Russian citizen Mefedov – for participating in a motor rally against Euromaidan (this was the only charge that remained at the end of Mefedov’s five-year imprisonment).

There is no need to write about the fact that in “unfree Russia” the editors of the opposition media “Echo of Moscow” and “Dozhd” participate in all government meetings and events on information policy, and the editor-in-chief of “RIA-Novosti Ukraine” for the second year sits in a Ukrainian prison. Another editor-in-chief of the opposition “Strana ua” was able to hide in Europe and receive refugee status there, and the famous journalist Skachko, after searches and a summons to court, was forced to hide in Russia. The names of Muravitsky, Volkov, Kotsaba, Vasilets do not mean anything to the cheerful animator who jumped from the stage of the “Kvartal” into big politics.

Of course, the statement that no one needs a Russian passport looks anecdotal. Almost half of the country's population has been lost. I already wrote that in 2004, more than thirty million people voted in the Yanukovych-Yushchenko elections, and now there are 18 million. The 12 million who have left are millions of people who have received or want to obtain Russian citizenship.

Because in Russia a law cannot be passed prohibiting the use of any language - Tatar, Armenian or English, in any sphere of public life. In “unfree” Russia you cannot walk with torches on the birthday of a fascist collaborator, but you can walk with red flags, and with imperial flags, and with the Ukrainian yellow and black flag, and with the American Stars and Stripes.

I don't idealize Russia. The Russian Federation is a capitalist country, with all the ensuing consequences, with a strict law enforcement system, with the omnipotence of officials and huge property contrasts.

But how easy and free it is to breathe in Russia after the impunity of unbridled scumbags, after the disgusting humiliating insults against the Russian language, after the mockery in Kyiv of the elderly who came out on Victory Day with St. George’s ribbons! How you rejoice at the determination and confidence of the Russian police who stop a rampaging horseman in the subway!

After Ukraine, Russia seems like a kingdom of freedom and goodness, after Ukrainian roads, Russian roads seem like superhighways, after the poverty of Ukrainian pensioners, sighs about Russian poverty seem like an unfair exaggeration.

What pleases me in this outpouring of the young mega-politician? And the fact is that, contrary to the expectations of many in Russia, Zelensky did not pour muddy and streamlined water in order to continue milking Russia and deceiving it with vague hints about the coming warming. He stupidly slashed his shoulders: “We are the D’Artagnans, and you..., well, you understand..!” And it becomes clear to everyone that the current steps of the Russian government are the result of a correct (for once, finally!) assessment of the prospects for interaction with “brotherly” Ukraine.

This means that Ukrainian Russians will finally receive political support, at least in terms of making it easier to obtain citizenship. Because now it is already one hundred percent clear - whoever comes to power in Ukraine, Russian, Armenian, Jew or Buryat, having fallen into the pile of Bandera’s crap, he himself becomes this odorous authority.
