Ukrainians don’t care about anything anymore – as long as it’s not Poroshenko
Residents of Ukraine are making a completely unconscious choice by supporting comedian Vladimir Zelensky in the fight for the presidency.
Russian film director Karen Shakhnazarov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“I have great respect for actors and comedians as well, but there must be some kind of program, we must know at least something about the person! And the whole country votes for him! Why?" – Shakhnazarov asked, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Phenomenon!" – responded Ukrainian economist Alexander Okhrimenko.
“This “phenomenon” speaks very poorly of the state of the soul that exists in Ukrainian society, do you understand?” – commented the director.
“The second round turned into an “anti-Poroshenko” campaign. Nobody is interested in any meanings. I am personally sure that if Tymoshenko or Boyko had entered the second round, the situation would not have been the same. There wouldn’t be such a gap, but now everything has turned into an “anti-Poroshenko” campaign, no one cares anymore, debates are not debates, it doesn’t matter,” summed up political scientist Sergei Mikheev.
