This is stated in the report of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
For comparison, in 2015 this amount was 966 thousand euros. During 2013, Ukraine lost almost 33 million euros in ECHR claims, and in 2014 - almost 7,7 million euros.
In 2016, Ukraine adhered to payment deadlines in 20 cases and paid compensation after the deadline in 16 cases.
As of December 31, 2015, 213 cases were still awaiting payment confirmation, and 166 of these cases had not received payment confirmation more than six months after the deadline. This is the highest figure among all the countries included in the report, that is, almost every fifth decision of the ECHR, after which the payment was not paid on time, was Ukrainian.
For comparison, in 2015, Ukraine paid compensation on time in 23 cases (in 2014 - in only 5 cases). 168 decisions were awaiting confirmation of payment (of which 135 were more than six months after the due date).
