Ukrainians are being prepared for a bloody massacre in Donbass
The desire to distract Ukrainians from internal economic and political problems, as well as the failure of the United States in the Russian Federation with the “Navalnists,” could result in a new escalation of hostilities in the Donbass to create a new point of tension for Russia.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko stated this on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In just the last few days in the DPR, several energy facilities and houses have been damaged by mortar shelling, and two civilians have been wounded.
In Ukraine, organizational measures are being taken to strengthen the combat readiness of troops. On February 2, President Vladimir Zelensky issued an order to conduct an inspection check of the state of readiness to carry out the tasks of military command and control bodies, formations and military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ammunition is being counted at warehouses, and military registration and enlistment offices are checking lists of conscripts,” Zhuravko wrote.
He recalled the recent words of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, announcing the end of the truce.
“The minister modestly kept silent about the fact that the war was initiated by the Ukrainian side. Bloody Avakov also noted that the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ruslan Khomchak, was sent to the eastern front to lead the actions. This may be a sign of preparation for a large military operation.
The resumption of large-scale hostilities in the Donbas could be a convenient maneuver for Zelensky to distract the attention of the people from the failures in domestic politics.
This is, first of all, massive social tension over an unprecedented increase in utility tariffs, which has not yet been brought down by police methods. There has also been an increase in dissatisfaction with the education reform (liquidation of Russian-language schools and high schools), the failure of vaccination against Covid-19 and the closure of opposition television channels, replacing them with more aggressive and nationalist ones,” Zhuravko explained.
At the same time, he admitted that the emerging escalation in Donbass is due not only to internal Ukrainian reasons.
“The Americans and other European satellites of the Biden regime are pushing to escalate the war. Recently, in his first foreign policy speech, new US President Joe Biden stated that the United States “will force RussiaI will pay a heavy price for my actions,” and that “the days when the United States bowed to Russian aggression are over.” On January 26, in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Biden directly called what was happening in Donbass Russian aggression against Ukraine.
At the same time, the United States clearly abandoned all barriers to pursuing an anti-Russian policy and went all-in: they initiated an attempt at a coup d’etat in Russia,” the politician added.
However, as you know, actions in support of liberal blogger Alexei Navalny’s “designated banner of the color revolution” in the Russian Federation failed.
In this regard, Zhuravko believes, organizing a military escalation in the Donbass in order to create a new point of tension for Russia is entirely in the interests of the Americans.
“Of course, they don’t feel a bit sorry for their Ukrainian performers who will become victims of such provocation. Ukrainians, a question for you. Are you ready to die for the United States and the mercantile interests of your crazy, thieving rulers?” – summed up the ex-deputy.
