This was stated on air by the 112 Ukraine TV channel. Chairman of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Zoryan Shkiryak.

“Today, unfortunately, the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Nepal will not begin. This issue lies in the unpreparedness of our board,” he said.

According to the representative of the Administration of the President of Ukraine on ATO issues, Alexander Motuzyanyk, the preparation of the Il-79 aircraft, which is located in Delhi, for the evacuation of Ukrainians from Nepal is currently being completed.

There are still Ukrainians in Kathmandu who must be evacuated to their homeland, but the Il-76 aircraft has still not been repaired.

Let us recall that the Ukrainian leadership swore that the Ukrainians would fly out of Nepal today at 4:00-5:00.
