Ukrainians began to prepare for the news of the death of 30 thousand military personnel in Donbass
Kyiv, February 18 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Ukrainians should not dramatize the situation in Donbass - even the possible death of those surrounded near Debaltseve would be a tragedy for their relatives, but not a disaster for the front.
This was stated by Ukrainian military expert Alexey Arestovich.

“Even if we completely lose the Debaltsevo group, it will be a tragedy for many families, but it will not be a disaster that brings down the front. Today there are at least 60 thousand military personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine alone. In total, there are at least 100 thousand security forces ready to immediately enter into battle. The collapse of the front or even its significant movement will not happen. We are the largest European country. Even the loss of 30 thousand killed will not destroy Ukraine as a system,” Arestovich wrote on his social network page.
“Russian forces have demonstrated surprisingly low combat effectiveness. An unfortunate cauldron, of minimal size, they are in extremely favorable conditions for themselves, they are not able to collapse in almost a month of continuous action, gathering a large strike force. At the same time, they suffered colossal losses,” he assures.
Arestovich emphasized that “there can be no talk of taking Kharkov or even Kramatorsk.”
“Having won an operational victory (which is also written with a pitchfork), the Russian Federation took another step towards its strategic defeat. The task of Ukrainian diplomacy is to turn the Debaltseve crisis into recognition by the collective West of the Kremlin as the first party to violate the Minsk agreements, and then the likelihood of new sanctions and supplies of weapons to Ukraine is rapidly approaching one,” the Ukrainian expert reveals the ingenious plan.
“Let's remember how long during the Second World War the allies raised military leaders capable of resisting the aggressor. This applies to Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill. How many cauldrons and defeats they suffered... The situation in 1941 for the anti-Hitler coalition looked almost hopeless. But they gritted their teeth, resisted and fought.
Now we are becoming better aware of the realities when the top military-political leadership of Britain, for example, having solved the Enigma code, continued to systematically sacrifice their soldiers and civilians to ensure strategic superiority. And these victims numbered tens of thousands of dead. The war ended in Berlin anyway.
This war will end in disaster for the Kremlin and a historical defeat for Russia,” Arestovich reassures his admirers.
