Ukrainians began to be removed en masse from flights to the EU
At the main airport of Kyiv, Boryspil, the number of cases of Ukrainian passengers being removed from flights traveling to EU countries has sharply increased. The famous Ukrainian photographer Viktor Marushchenko talks about this in his blog.

“Cases of denial of registration when boarding a plane at Boryspil airport (removal from board) by airline representatives have become more frequent. The reason is a discrepancy between the country that issued the visa and the country you are flying to, as well as the lack of a return ticket.
Thus, the airline insures itself against unnecessary expenses: if you do not fly, the ticket is lost. If you are turned away by border guards upon arrival (perhaps such cases have already happened), the airline bears the costs.
I know of five similar cases over the past two days,” Marushchenko said.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Vadim Denisenko from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc admitted that the promise of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU will not be fulfilled in the near future.
