They are trying to trick Ukrainians into voting for Poroshenko
Residents of Uzhgorod are massively receiving anonymous SMS messages informing about an allegedly changed voting procedure, according to which it is necessary to put a mark next to the initials of the candidate whom the voter does not support.
This was reported by the local publication “About the West”, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“Voters contacted District Election Commission No. 68 with complaints that they were receiving SMS and Viber messages stating that, according to the new rules, you need to mark the ballot not for the candidate you support, but next to the name of that candidate, which you don't support.
According to the lawyer of DEC No. 68, Alexander Volosyansky, today by lunchtime about 10 people contacted them with this problem. Members of the DEC tried to explain to voters that the voting procedure has not changed, and they need to vote the same way as before,” the message says.
Residents of Kherson also reported a similar provocation, the local publication New Day reports.
According to them, a group of agitators appeared at the Central City Market who told buyers and sellers that during voting they supposedly need to put a mark on the ballot next to the name of the candidate against whom you are going to vote. It is noted that after such a conversation, people called the police, but by the time law enforcement officers arrived, the provocateurs had managed to retreat.
Note that, according to leaked exit poll data, current President Poroshenko loses miserably to comedian Zelensky.
