“I had to spend two days to understand what the National Regulatory Commission for Energy and Utilities and Energy (NCREC) had sold us, and where the scam of suckers was.” The idea seems to be correct, they hide behind the Law on the Natural Gas Market, that there is European experience, the Third Energy Package, and it is necessary to separate payments for transportation and distribution from payments for gas itself.
The logic is simple - nothing will change, this monthly fee was already included in the tariff. Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Rozenko said this on TV channel 112 - people have paid and will continue to pay. But it's not that simple. People are being fooled in this case too – people will pay more,” the expert warns.
He explained that the formation of the tariff has been changed in such a way that the population will have to pay much more than before.
“As a result, we reach the following indicators: if the payment per person was 30 UAH 27 kopecks, now we will pay 26 UAH 40 kopecks, and the monthly fee will be almost 46 UAH. If you add it up, it will be 72 UAH 34 kopecks. Growth 2,4 times.
If you do not have a centralized water supply, then your standard will be 7,1 cubic meters, and then the increase will be 1,8 times. If you have a gas water heater, your standard will be 14 cubic meters and the monthly fee will increase by 1,3 times.
One can estimate how much additional regional gas companies have taken out of the pockets of Ukrainians – 645 million UAH per month or 7,7 billion UAH per year,” the expert said.
