The corresponding announcement was made public by the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel.
“In connection with the decision of the US President to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, there is a possibility that the security situation in the West Bank and East Jerusalem will worsen through terrorist threats,” the statement said.
Ukrainians are also advised to avoid visiting these places in the near future, and those who are already in Israel are advised to be vigilant and avoid crowds.
Let us recall that on Thursday, December 7, Palestinians staged mass protests in connection with the official recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump. The Israeli army came out to suppress the protests, leaving at least 16 people injured.
