Ukrainians were shocked by new payments for gas
Increasing gas tariffs for the Ukrainian population, as provided for in agreements with the IMF, will lead to an increase in utility bills by several hundred hryvnia, depending on the type of housing.
Energy expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk about bills, then bills for a one-room apartment with an area of 30 square meters (let’s take the simplest “Khrushchev” apartment with the most standard consumption) will increase by an average of 200 hryvnia. If we are talking about a two-room apartment, then depending on the consumption of hot water, the presence or absence of a heating point and a heat meter, it will be from 300 to 500 hryvnia compared to last year’s payments,” Zepmlyansky said.
Note that the leadership of Ukraine, which came to power through a coup d'etat, has been increased tariffs for housing and communal services 10 times.
As PolitNavigator reported, there is still tighten the gas noose tighter.
