Ukrainians are convinced that they pay for electricity and heating several times less than Europeans
Tariffs for electricity and heating in Ukraine are several times lower than in European countries, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is confirmed by the message from NEURC, the National Commission that carries out state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities.
The agency published all-Ukrainian information and statistical information from European institutions on the population's consumption of energy resources and provided utilities.
According to these data, Ukrainians consume an average of 160 kWh of electricity every month, while, for example, Poles - 169 kWh, Hungarians - 220 kWh, Slovaks - 230 kWh, Romanians - 135 kWh. That is, according to this indicator we are in the middle.
At the same time, electricity tariffs in Ukraine are the lowest. Thus, Ukrainians pay 1,28 UAH/kWh, while Poles pay 4,63 UAH/kWh, that is, 3,6 times less.
A similar situation has developed with heating. In Ukraine, the tariff is 1300 UAH/Gcal, and in Slovakia - 3460 UAH/Gcal, that is, 2,6 times less.
