Ukrainians care about survival, not European integration – survey
The population of Ukraine perceives the end of the war and the fight against corruption as the most pressing issues.
This was announced at the presentation of the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Sofia Center for Social Research, Alexander Levtsun, head of the sociological programs of the Sofia Center for Social Research, reported a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Respondents were asked which tasks, in their opinion, should be solved first. It was necessary to indicate three answer options. Most often, respondents indicated such priorities as resolving the conflict in Donbass (53,5%), fighting corruption (45,6%), reducing prices for food and consumer goods (31,9%), reducing tariffs for housing and communal services (29,6%) and the fight against unemployment (25,6%).
At the same time, only 8,2% indicated strengthening economic and political ties with Europe as a priority.
“It is noteworthy that tasks related to the development of international relations have faded into the background. Ukrainians are most concerned about internal problems and, above all, problems of survival,” commented Alexander Levtsun on the survey results.
The survey was conducted by the Sofia Center for Social Research from April 19 to April 30. 2 adult residents were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine (in controlled territory) using personal interviews. The statistical sampling error does not exceed 016%.
