This point of view was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by the head of the public organization “Public Audit” Maxim Goldarb, based on calculations made by experts of his organization.

“The tariff can easily be increased by 100 percent,” Goldarb believes. – If we imagine that Ukrainian gas will be slightly insufficient for consumption by the population, and imported gas will have to be added, then in this case the maximum by which the tariff can rise is 150 percent. But this is in no way the current 280 percent. That is, we argue that the increase in gas tariffs for the population may well be up to 3,5 thousand hryvnia, but not 7200.”
