“The court appointed 6 months of imprisonment for Dmitry Kiyanitsa for cruelty to animals. A man beat his cat, which he tied to a tree with a hose. Neighbors saw this and called the police. The cat was taken to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with broken ribs, bones and pelvis,” said the channel’s journalist.
It is reported that the cat is now living with neighbors who have witnessed cruelty to the animal. The accused also has 30 days to appeal the decision to the Court of Appeal. The man himself refused to make any comments in the courtroom.
