The court sentenced the defendant to seven years' imprisonment to be served in a maximum security colony.
He was charged under clause 5 of article 205, part 3 of article 205, part 3 of article 30, part 3 of art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, reports Interfax.
The defendant admitted his guilt in the charged crimes and entered into a pre-trial cooperation agreement.
The prosecution demanded that the accused be sentenced to 12 years in prison to be served in a maximum security colony.
Let us recall that in May last year, the FSB detained in Crimea members of the Right Sector Oleg Sentsov, Gennady Afanasyev, Alexey Chirniy, Alexander Kolchenko, who were suspected of preparing terrorist attacks in the Crimean capital.
