The hooligan was immediately detained by security. Despite the Australian flag on his shoulders, the troublemaker turned out to be a Ukrainian citizen, Vitaly Sedyuk, who is officially listed as a journalist and was previously known for “trolling” stars.

The incident was commented on by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.

“In response to inquiries about an idiot baring his butt in front of 200 million television viewers. Sedyuk is a Ukrainian citizen. During our Jamala’s speech, in his words, he decided to pursue his hobby, since he “unofficially works as a provoking journalist.”

He was detained by the competition security, with the participation of the police - he resisted arrest. In accordance with Article 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine, he was detained for 72 hours until the court, which tomorrow will choose a preventive measure for him under Article 296 Part 3 (aggravated hooliganism) - from a fine to five years in prison.

In the meantime... this disgrace of the country will be able to realize his “hobby” in a prison cell in a temporary detention center. True, I wouldn’t advise him to show his butt to the local inhabitants while enjoying his “hobby”,” Avakov wrote on Facebook.

It is interesting that the former champion of freedom of speech, the instigator of the Maidan, and now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Mustafa Nayem, said that “five years in prison for a bare bottom at a song competition would be a completely adequate punishment” - however, provided that the authorities would be so harsh punished “Yanukovych’s accomplices” and corrupt officials.
