Ukrainians will not leave, but leave Ukraine - Karasev
The consequences of quarantine in Ukraine may be the complete collapse of small and medium-sized businesses in the country and the mass departure of guest workers abroad.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We can completely destroy small and medium-sized businesses, and people will not just leave, they will get out of here. There is a difference between leaving and leaving. Folk language, such slang, it captures all these nuances well...
A person will be offered to pick strawberries, at least for three months, or go to an asphalt brigade for three months to rearrange curbs or lay tiles. Where will the person go? Because it depends on the salary. When a person works in the service sector in Italy or France - as a governess, cleaner, and so on - the working conditions there are different. This is a normal life, this is morning coffee, this is good ecology, this is a bourgeois way of life. What will they get here, lay the tiles? Well, it’s not serious,” Karasev said.
