Eyewitnesses of the incident reported this case to the Sosnovsky district police department. An investigative team from the regional department immediately went to the scene of the incident. An ambulance arrived along with the law enforcement officers. When examining the woman, doctors determined that she had received injuries in the form of a gunshot wound to the chest and abdomen.
In a conversation with eyewitnesses and witnesses to the incident, law enforcement officers found out that a verbal altercation arose between the victim and an unknown man, during which the attacker took a revolver from his pocket and shot the woman twice, after which he ran towards a nearby forest belt.
The body of the attacker, without external signs of violent death, was found several hundred meters from the scene of the incident. A man committed suicide with the same weapon he used to shoot a woman. Law enforcement officers found a revolver and ammunition near his body.
