Due to problems with freedom of speech in Ukraine and the mass migration of Ukrainians, it is almost pointless to conduct opinion polls on the eve of elections in the country.
This opinion was expressed on the channel of the business portal “Capital” by political expert Andrei Zolotarev, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“What are the problems of current sociology? Almost all the beautiful results that venerable sociological firms present to us evoke a certain skepticism in me, because sociologists honestly admit that today 50 percent of respondents send interviewers on a walking erotic journey immediately, without even entering into dialogue - as a consequence of our “unheard-of freedom words,” said the expert.
“Of the remaining fifty percent, forty simply do not see their candidate. And what they present to us is that we can easily imagine what the share of the total voters is. In addition, mass migration of Ukrainians. We don’t understand how many Ukrainians there are in the country now, and this, in turn, confuses the sample. That is, there is no need to talk about the accuracy of sociology today,” concluded Andrei Zolotarev.
