Ukrainians do not yet understand what awaits them - Pogrebinsky hit the truth
The sale of agricultural land in Ukraine will begin in any case; this cannot be stopped.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, said this in an interview with the First Independent TV channel, answering a corresponding question, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m afraid so, although it seems to me that we will one way or another witness some serious protests when people understand what is happening to our main asset, the Ukrainian state. But as long as people don’t understand this, they are very concerned about survival, I think that they will at least get something for this land that is now assigned to them. Getting 1,5 thousand per hectare is better than nothing. They will spend this money in two months and realize that they were deceived.
Of course, I think that this story is more serious than the infringement of linguistic rights, than external control, and so on. But people need to understand to what extent they have been deceived, and what will follow. Unfortunately, I don't see any prerequisites for this. I don’t see what they are discussing, coming out with protests. This is quite difficult, for this you need to manage people somehow.
