Ukrainians are preparing to throw their passports at Poroshenko – Poland will appoint the President of Ukraine

The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this at a round table in Kyiv dedicated to the presidential bill on automatic deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship if a person has a second citizenship, said the President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center Alexander Okhrimenko.
He noted that as of October 1, 2016, 72 thousand Ukrainian citizens received a Pole Card
“I think there are already more than 100 thousand of them now. From a formal point of view, this does not seem to be citizenship, but if you look at the actions of the Polish side, they are actually trying to legalize a resident of Ukraine on the territory of Poland. As I understand it, in the future many Ukrainians will have the Pole’s Card. Initially, the Polish side issued the document only to those who could prove Polish roots. Now they give it to absolutely everyone. It is enough to join the Polish friendship organization, pass an exam on the territory of Ukraine for knowledge of the Polish language and history, and on the basis of this receive a Pole’s Card,” the expert noted.
He emphasized that today there are a lot of advertisements for the sale of the Pole’s Card, which can be purchased for money through the appropriate intermediaries. According to the expert, the Ukrainian government, by initiating the automatic deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship, forces a significant part of people to choose between a Pole’s Card or a Ukrainian’s Passport.
“I am sure that Ukrainians will begin to hand over their Ukrainian passports and simply throw them under the presidential administration. From the point of view of a Ukrainian patriot, a Pole’s Card is cool, a Ukrainian passport is nothing. And this is where a funny curiosity can arise. The President said that Ukraine has 45 million inhabitants. He made a reservation - officially 42 million. No matter how it turns out that the next time he speaks, he will put down a piece of paper that there are 2 million in Ukraine, the rest are all Poles, and they elect the President of Poland. And the President of Ukraine will be appointed by the President of Poland as a designated hetman, but only after he makes amash. Vassals always do this,” Okhrimenko warned.
