Another increase in gas tariffs in connection with the agreements between the government and the IMF will lead to a crisis in heat supply and jeopardize the heating of residential buildings.
Deputy Yevgeny Rybchinsky stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are on the verge of another increase in gas tariffs. Raising tariffs during the heating season could lead to a shock for the entire industry. Heat and utilities enterprises may not have time to get their bearings in a timely manner. There are risks in providing services to consumers,” Rybchinsky said.
