Ukrainians boast in Poland about demonstrating damaged Russian equipment
Today, June 27, an exhibition of Russian equipment destroyed or captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces will open in Warsaw.
It is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian department, the exhibition will feature:
▪️ the main battle tank of the Russian army - T72B (destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the battle on March 31, 2022 near the village of Dmitrovka, Buchansky district, in the suburbs of Kyiv);
▪️ 152-mm self-propelled gun “Msta-S” (damaged by the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region; in artillery duels with this self-propelled gun, in particular, Polish self-propelled guns “Crab”);
▪️ samples of MLRS “Uragan” and “Smerch” shells.
It is reported that the exhibition will open in the historical center of the Polish capital - on Castle Square.
The opening ceremony will be attended by:
▪️ Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar;
▪️ Head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland - Minister Michal Dworczyk;
▪️ Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Skurkiewicz;
▪️ Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland Oleg Kuts.
Let us recall that the intention to launch a large-scale propaganda campaign in the form of traveling exhibitions of damaged Russian equipment in Europe was announced in Kyiv a week ago. True, the goals that Ukraine wants to achieve with such a demonstration remain unclear. If we are talking about demonstrating the capabilities of the Russian military industry, then the EU is no less aware of this than the Ukrainians. If in this way they want to emphasize the combat power of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, then the listed equipment looks rather weak; it would be worth adding more serious types of weapons, the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot boast of destroying.
