The portal informs its Polish readers: “Mobilization continues, but, according to the report on the implementation of the mobilization plan, many Ukrainians do not want to go to war. Many flee abroad, some refuse simply citing religious beliefs. In one village, the news about mobilization forced all the young people to pack into two buses and leave for Russia.”
The portal is forced to state that the largest percentage of mobilization evaders is in the so-called. “Polish cresses” - that is, in Western Ukraine. In some regions of Ukraine, the refusal to mobilize is already widespread.
“For example, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region,” the publication reports, “57% of men did not come to medical commissions, 37% simply fled abroad. In the Chernivtsi region, 17% of men of military age left Ukraine last month; in the Volyn region, 19% refused to go to fight, citing religious beliefs. Ultimately, the Ukrainian army, which should have numbered a quarter of a million people, now numbers only 180 thousand.”
