Ukrainians don’t want to return home – Kravchuk
The “kravchuchki” cars, which gained popularity among shuttle traders in the early 90s, made the first rich people out of ordinary Ukrainians, and today millions of citizens of the country go to work and do not return.
The first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk stated this on Channel 7, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, without “kravchuchki” Ukrainians become poorer and emigrate.
“Those who transported the “kravchuchki” earned money, came to Ukraine and created their own small business here. During this time they became wealthy people, and some even rich people. And those who did not do this continue to remain in worse conditions. Therefore, you don’t need to look at everything only negatively. And the Poles traveled like this, and people in other countries traveled like this, looking for how to make money, how to build something. And now they drive without “kravchuchki”. Every year, a million people leave Ukraine. There are no "kravchuchek". They returned to Ukraine with the “kravchuchki”, but without the “kravchuchki” they do not return,” Kravchuk said.
