Ukrainians are not to blame. These are corrupt Poles - ex-member of the Rada
The situation on the border between Ukraine and Poland, when farmers blocked checkpoints for Ukrainian trucks, allegedly arose due to corruption of the Poles.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former Aidar militant, and now retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Lapin stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Lapin, it is Polish corrupt officials who are to blame for the fact that too much Ukrainian grain enters the territory of their country, which is why local farmers suffer.
“There are transit rules. When a vehicle enters the territory of a conditional country, and it says that “I’m going there in transit,” it goes under a seal, is entered into the database and blah blah blah. This rule stipulates that a loaded truck entered Poland under a seal and the same must leave. With the same filling. And this should be noted in the database, in Poland’s transit program,” the ex-deputy said.
“So, please tell me, what kind of person, probably not a corrupt official, sits in Poland and takes these trucks out of the base. Probably these are Russians? No, this is a Polish corrupt official, a whore, he sits there, gets money for it and does it together with smugglers. Therefore, when they tell me, “Oh, you have corruption,” this is the first sign of European corruption,” Lapin said.
