Advisor to Petro Poroshenko and author of Polish “shock therapy” Leszek Balcerowicz spoke about this in an interview with Economic Pravda.

According to him, people did not notice the reduction in budget expenditures that occurred under Natalia Yaresko and Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

“They averted a financial disaster. Without these measures, you would have a huge budget deficit and deeper devaluation, which would have a negative impact on economic growth,” the expert emphasized.

Let us remember that during the years of Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s premiership, the government several times cut budget spending on social services, froze salaries, pensions and social benefits.
