Ukrainians do not want to fight and did not care about the status of Crimea
Among the priority tasks of the Ukrainian government, the country's population sees ending the war in Donbass, overcoming the economic crisis, fighting corruption and creating jobs.
These are the data of a poll conducted by the Rating group together with the International Republican Institute, which is headed by US Senator McCain, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, 71% of respondents were in favor of ending the war, 45% were in favor of improving the economy, 31% supported the fight against corruption, and 26% were in favor of creating jobs.
In addition, Ukrainians are in favor of increasing pensions (24%), salaries (22%) and increasing the level of medical services (22%).
Only 9% of respondents are concerned about the return of Crimea to Ukraine. About the same number – 8% – want to improve the country’s infrastructure and fight crime.
The survey was conducted from May 26 to June 10 this year, and 2,4 thousand residents from 24 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv took part in it.
