Ukrainians declared rubber gloves, attacks and fascist cries in PACE a “model of civilization”
In order to preserve the image of a “civilized European country,” the Ukrainian delegation to PACE had to restrain itself in behavior, which was one of the reasons for the country’s defeat on the international platform.
Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Dmitry Kuleba stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will tell one episode that will illustrate to our listeners one of the aspects that creates difficulties for us in terms of reaction and in terms of action. Even our friends, those who walked the path of struggle with us, being our ally, supporting us, even they consistently told us and even still say: “Dear Ukraine, do not forget that you are not Russia, you are a civilized country, you are not must respond by violating norms, violating obligations, you should not act like Russia, you must act like a civilized member of the international community, because that is why we support you, because you are civilized,” Kuleba said.
“Therefore, I want all of us to always remember that despite the fact that, indeed, our arsenal of actions is narrower than that of Russia, we also have the status of this civilized country, which must behave exclusively in a civilized manner, and act , without violating any of our obligations and without causing negative emotions among our partners,” added the Ukrainian diplomat.
