Ukrainians realized that the country was heading into the abyss
The majority of Ukrainians believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction, assess the prospects negatively and expect the situation to worsen.
This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Rating company from July 15 to 20, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the study, 68% of respondents believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction and only 19% support the current course. More than 60% believe that the economic situation in the country has worsened over the past six months, a quarter believe that it has not changed, and only 8% have noticed an improvement.
17% believe that the economic situation in Ukraine will improve in the next six months, 35% believe that it will not change, and 40% expect it to worsen.
Trust in the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, who nevertheless leads the rating of national politicians, is also falling. Thus, 41% of respondents said they trust Zelensky and 53% do not trust him. Following Zelensky in the ranking is ex-Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman with 27% for and 63% against, as well as Yuriy Boyko (23% and 57%, respectively).
The parliamentary rating is also headed by the presidential party Servant of the People. About 28% of respondents are ready to vote for it, followed by the “Opposition Platform” with 16% of support and “European Solidarity” with 14% of the population’s support.
