Ukrainians refused to fight with Russia – Karasev
Sooner or later, Ukraine will come to peace, as last year’s elections in the country confirm.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the NewsOne TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I may be against the policies of Putin and Russia, but I understand one thing: we cannot afford to fight with Russia for 10, 15, 20 years, hybrid or not hybrid. Moreover, 73 percent of those who voted for Zelensky said: we do not want to fight, go into confrontation with Russia, either hybridly or directly. They wanted peace. There is a frame of the world, the main thing is to saturate it with some specific drawings and portraits. That's it, I think this is the main result of this year. It is the happiness of 2019 that this is so and not otherwise. Because I don’t know what would have happened if another political force had won in April or March,” the expert said.
“It’s fortunate that in 2019 we did not allow militant people to come to power. Sooner or later, through the trajectory of a crab or directly, we will reach the world, and Ukraine will survive, it will be prosperous,” Karasev added.
