Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Andrei Isaev stated this on the air of the “Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” program.

According to him, Russia is suffering big losses due to sanctions, refugees and other consequences of Kyiv’s pro-Western policies.
“Ukrainians are our fraternal people. He was and will remain, no matter what, but Ukrainians are adults who must bear the consequences for their choices. They made this choice. Unfortunately, they will pay for their choice with very harsh social and economic consequences. Because of Ukraine, Russia also suffers economic losses. The Ukrainian authorities blocked Crimea and increased Russia’s expenses, millions of refugees receive material support from Russia, we have had contracts between enterprises broken, we are suffering losses due to sanctions,” Isaev said.
