Ukrainians have come up with another way to prove that they are not Russians
The transition of the Ukrainian language from Cyrillic to Latin will clearly demonstrate that Ukrainians are not Russians. The developer of the Ukrainian Latin alphabet, Yuri Zeleny, stated this on the air of the talk show “Direct Text” on the Lviv TV channel ZiK.
According to him, now the Ukrainian language differs from Russian by only a few letters, so they don’t want to study it, and the transition to the Latin alphabet will immediately generate interest in the “language”.

“There was no sense of difference between the Ukrainian and Russian languages in the inscriptions. There is bread, there is “bread”. One letter. Accordingly, when the language environment does not encourage you to switch to the Ukrainian language, then you do not switch. And when Ukrainian is under the Latin alphabet, it will be an unambiguous border that will clearly show, even a blind person will see that these are different languages. And whether you like it or not, you won’t sign any state document until you read it or fill it out in Ukrainian,” Zeleny said.
