At a press conference in Kiev, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the head of the information and analytical center “Third Sector” Andrey Zolotarev resorted to this comparison, noting that he liked the comparison of Petro Poroshenko with the most honest president, who fulfilled his promise and everyone is now living in a new way.
“But this is life in a cauldron of boiling palm oil. I think the majority of Ukrainians agree with this assessment, but, paradoxically, they silently swallow the next acts of social genocide produced by the authorities; they, giving Poroshenko ratings at the level of 5-7 percent of support, applaud all the crazy initiatives - so they are vatniks and necessary,” the political scientist emphasized.
“Perhaps Pyotr Alekseevich has found those subtle threads that lead to the mysterious Ukrainian soul. What he was not allowed to do in 2005, when he was sitting in the National Security and Defense Council. Then he, too, was gushing with these kinds of ideas, but was faced with Yushchenko’s absolute indifference, and on the other hand, he was supported by Tymoshenko in the Cabinet of Ministers. Well, then it all ended with the famous press conference, at which Pyotr Alekseevich was declassed from Ukrainian politics for several years,” Zolotarev recalled.
