Ukrainians rushed to Russian Crimea
Despite the propaganda about the “Russian threat” and all sorts of complications introduced by the Ukrainian authorities for those wishing to visit Russian Crimea, the flow of those wishing to enter the peninsula from the former Soviet republic increased sharply on the eve of the May holidays.
This was reported by the Crimea 24 TV channel with reference to data from the border service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If on ordinary days about five thousand people pass through checkpoints, then over the last day the flow exceeded ten thousand. And with the approach of the May holidays, the number of tourists from Ukraine will only grow. All checkpoints on the Russian side are operating as normal. Border guards are ready for the influx of vacationers,” Crimean television crews report.
