The publication recalls that a group of State Duma deputies introduced another bill to allow Ukrainians who were unable to renounce their previous citizenship, but at the same time received Russian citizenship, to enter the civil service, for which they will simply need to renounce their old passport in writing.

And Deputy Chairman of the Human Rights Council Yevgeny Bobrov clarified that many Ukrainians today declare their desire to work in Russian law enforcement agencies.

He believes that if the law on the admission of former citizens of Ukraine to the civil service is adopted, then, most likely, “most of them will go to the police, the rest to security guards.”

According to the expert, Russia benefits from the influx of Ukrainians into the country.

“We need workers, especially against the backdrop of pension reform, so we need to continue to humanize migration legislation, facilitate the conditions for legalization and obtaining Russian citizenship,” Bobrov said.

At the same time, the president of the XNUMXst Century Migration Foundation, Vyacheslav Postavnin, suggests first addressing the problems of ethnic Russians.

“Why don’t the authorities first solve the problem of ethnic Russians, and only then deal with the Ukrainians? We spread to the citizens of Ukraine because this is a hot political topic, nothing more,” Postavnin emphasized.

He says that preferences for Ukrainians are necessary, but these people should receive citizenship on an equal basis at least with their Russian compatriots.

As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian Week magazine admitted that more and more Ukrainians are committing their future with Russia.

In addition, the ex-head of the Right Sector, Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Yarosh demands a ban on returning home Ukrainians working in Russia
