Ukrainians will soon be included in the Red Book
The population of Ukraine continues to decline: for every 100 deaths there are now only 54 newborns.
Deputy from the “Opposition Bloc” Alexander Vilkul said this, speaking today in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yesterday, on the agenda of the Rada, instead of the laws necessary for the people, there was a draft decision to rename Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky to Pereyaslav. Also yesterday, the State Statistics Service reported that since the beginning of the year, the population of our country has decreased by 100 thousand people. That is, while the coalition is renaming and dividing the budget, in six months 4 cities have disappeared from the map of Ukraine, the population of each of them is equal to Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky,” Vilkul emphasized.
“We already have only 100 newborns per 54 deaths. There is no such population decline anywhere in the world. And 8 million people left abroad,” the people’s deputy said.
Let us remind you that yesterday in Ukraine a discussion broke out due to the renaming of Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky
