“We have made our TOP 3 best phrases about products and price increases this year. First place was taken by the Minister of Social Policy Reva with his famous phrase “Ukrainians eat a lot, that’s why we spend a lot of money on food.” Number two is First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Maxim Nefedov, who said that the abolition of state regulation of prices for social food products did not affect inflation in any way and, in general, the increase in food costs did not affect inflation in the past year. Third place - Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman with the phrase “have you seen the years when prices do not rise?”

Based on this, we know that everyone understands what mistakes were made in the past year and what lessons need to be learned for the next year. Everything is quite sad - when you know what happened, then you already know what should not be allowed. And when we see that the Ministry of Economic Development, which is obliged to plan the development of the country and build all financial indicators, says that the increase in the cost of food occurred completely isolated from everything else, and the National Bank revises inflation indicators every quarter due to the fact that food prices are becoming more expensive, then we understand that something is wrong,” he said at a press conference.
