Ukrainians are now leaving entire families to work abroad, and not only from Galicia
There is a new trend in Ukraine - people are emigrating to work abroad not only from the western and central regions, but also from the south of the country.

Kherson social activist Gennady Sivak stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
According to him, people left without work leave their entire families, which negatively affects the statistics of currency transfers to Ukraine.
“Previously, people went to work abroad, mainly in the center of Ukraine and the western regions. Now the south has also moved. We are talking about Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa and so on. According to the figures, it turns out like this: approximately 3,5 million Ukrainians work in Russia, and approximately the same number work in Europe. If we add the USA and Asia, then there will be about two million more. We must also add the lost territories - this is Donetsk - there are approximately four million and Crimea - 2,5 million. Previously, migrant workers sent money home, this suited everyone, because the money returned to Ukraine. From one migrant bus that left, 30-40 thousand euros in cash came back. And now it’s three to four thousand euros, because people started leaving with whole families, and there’s no one to send money to,” said Sivak.
