“Ukrainians, your a**es are just going to burn”: Water is returning to Crimea
Sevastopol, the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, painlessly survived the Ukrainian water blockade of Crimea, which coincided with the worst drought on the peninsula in recent years.
The Chernorechenskoe reservoir, which supplies Sevastopol with fresh water, is noticeably replenished after the snow melts in the mountains. The Chernaya River, which flows into the reservoir, is gaining strength and filling with water. A video of the arrival of the “big water” was published by local blogger Artem Lavrinenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The blogger responded to ill-wishers from Ukraine, who cursed Russia in the comments, expressing hope that the peninsula would turn into a desert.
“We have recently had good precipitation, which exceeded the monthly norm, snow fell, and there were rains. Now everything is melting, look how beautiful the water is going down in cascades. There is enough water for now, nature pampers us and makes us happy,” said the blogger and emphasized that along with the filling of Crimean reservoirs, the disappointment of Crimea’s enemies is growing:
“Especially those who are on the territory of Ukraine, guys, your ass is just going to burn there now, I’m answering you. I saw your comments about how you wished for us to become the Sahara. Guys, we won’t become her.”
Earlier, the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, said that the precipitation that fell on the peninsula in the first month of 2021 allowed significantly fill the reservoirs of the southern coast of Crimea and transfer the settlements of the region to an almost round-the-clock water supply.
